Who we are
About us
Hi! We are a Toasted Bean Coffee Truck, founded by sisters Laikyn and Kyra. We operate out of a 1973 Chevy P-20 stepvan lovingly named Frankie. We have a passion for quality connection and good coffee. We believe in crafting more than just drinks – we’re creating experiences! We’re proud to offer a menu featuring specialty espresso drinks, delicious teas, and refreshing energy beverages. We also want to emphasize our sustainability and impact on the environment. We proudly use compostable cups, lids, and straws. We recycle all of the materials we can, compost our grinds, and wash and reuse materials whenever we can. Plus, discover one-of-a-kind crochet products handmade by Laikyn! Based in the East Valley but always ready for an adventure, Frankie and our team bring the perfect brew right to you. Whether it’s your morning pick-me-up or a special celebration, we add that extra spark to every cup we serve. We are currently booking for private events of all kinds and look forward to making your next event special!
About Laikyn
I’ve been in coffee for about 2 ½ years and have learned so much vital information that has brought me to where I am today. I’ve also been crocheting for about a year and a half and love the happiness my creations can bring for other people. I LOVE making drinks and connecting with people, it feels like I’m going to my second home in our truck crafting tasty drinks. Being in the industry I’ve seen the ups and downs of coffee businesses and noticed areas where I could do better with my own.
Some fun facts about me: I love cats, crafting, and psychology. I’ll be graduating from ASU in May 2025 with a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in marketing and psychology.
About Kyra
Hello! I’m Kyra! I bring the project management and event coordination side of things to Toasted Bean! Laikyn and I realized teaming up would be the perfect balance of coffee trucking skills. I enjoy thinking outside the box and all things artsy. Creating opportunities we can offer the community & finding fun ways to partner with others is my favorite part of this business. I strive to offer a specialty coffee experience that comes right to you. Being mobile allows us to be there for events when you need it and keeps things super exciting for us!
Fun facts: I have a cat and an Australian cattle dog. I enjoy hiking and kayaking. I love trying new restaurants! Great espresso is a life necessity!
